Description:

Perennial herb, branched, 5-12 cm, with many short spreading stems, which arise directly from the stout root stock. Leaves narrowly spathulate, ca. 5cm, narrowed to a long winged leaf stalk. Flowers slate blue, long-stalked, in a much branched inflorescence; corolla lobes 8-13 mm, blunt, with a single nectary at the base fringed with hairs; calyx lobes narrow oblong, 6-8 mm.
