Exhibition of Ethnobotanical Materials

First exhibition of ESON was organised during the ESON book release program where publications and photographs related to ehnobotany exhibited. Similarly second exhibition was held during the national training workshop on 'Ethnobotanical Research: Laboratory & Field Method', where an exhibition of ethnobotanical materials and products were exhibited. 'Book Exhibition' was also organised at Central Library, TU, during the same program. Following exhibitors took part in the exhibition: Gorkha Ayurvedic Co.; Green Energy Mission Nepal; HPPCL; Innovative Stationery Works; IUCN; Natural History Museum; Singha Durbar Vaidya Khana; SOCODEP; Buddha Academy Enterprises; WWF Nepal Program. CDB, TU also exhibited the process of Herbarium Techniques.
 

Third exhibition was held during Training Workshop and Exhibition on ‘Botanical Illustration: Drawing & Photography’ held on August 18-21, 2002 (Bhadar 2-5, 2058). In the exhibition, photographs, sketches and drawings, Paintings and references/ literatures with photographs and line sketches of plants were displayed. Natural History Museum, Department of Plant Resources, and personal paintings, photographs and line sketches of plants of different  individuals were also displayed.

Exhibition of Botanical Illustrations: Drawings, Paintings and Photography
An exhibition of “Botanical Illustrations: Drawings, Paintings and Photography” was held in Central Department of Botany, Tribhuvan University from August 18-21, 2002. The program was organized by Ethnobotanical Society of Nepal (ESON), in collaboration with Central Department of Botany, Tribhuvan University (CDB/TU). 
 

About eight institutions, including Natural History Museum, Department of Plant Resources, Park Gallery, Digital Image World Pvt. Ltd., Central Department of Botany, TU, Ethnobotanical Society of Nepal, and more than a dozen individuals, including P.R. Shakya, B.L. Shrestha, Ashok Tuladhar, Dinesh Maharjan, R.P. Chaudhary, K.K. Shrestha, N.N. Tiwari, S. Rajbhandary, S.K. Ghimire, D.M. Bajracharya, and M. Sc. Students (U.B. Shrestha, Y. Uprety, M.R. Shrestha, Sailesh Shrestha, R.K. Niraula) had exhibited their materials during that occasion.
